Jacksonville Pressure Washing

How it works

Our Pressure Washing Process

Good exterior cleaning is mostly careful prep and patient rinsing. Here is what happens from the moment you ask for a quote to the final walk around.

Quick answer

You send a short form, a local pro reviews the job and gives you a written quote, then on cleaning day they protect plants and drains, clean each surface with the right method and rinse everything well. You look over the work together before they leave. Jacksonville Pressure Washing is a referral service that connects you with that independent local pro.

The Steps

  1. Send your request

Use the quote form to share your address, the surfaces you want cleaned and the best way to reach you. Photos help a lot. Same day quote requests are welcome when sent early in the day.

  2. Your pro reviews the job

A local exterior cleaning pro looks at your photos or visits the property. They note the size, how heavy the growth is, roof pitch, delicate plants, pools, ponds and nearby storm drains.

  3. Written quote

You get a written price that lists each surface, the method and anything not included, like rust or oil stains. Nothing is done until you agree.

  4. Prep on cleaning day

Your pro moves light items, soaks plants with plain water, covers outlets and lights, and blocks nearby storm drains. Windows and doors should be closed and pets kept inside.

  5. Clean with the right method

Walls, screens and roofs get a low pressure soft wash. Concrete and pavers get a surface cleaner. Wood gets a gentle wash with the grain. Work goes from the top down so dirty water does not run over clean areas.

  6. Rinse and treat

Every surface gets a full rinse. Plants get rinsed again. Concrete may get a light post treatment to keep growth from coming back quickly.

  7. Walk around together

You and your pro look over the work. If a spot was missed, it gets fixed then. You will also hear what is not mildew, like rust, oxidation or old paint failure, and what can be done about it.

Why Prep Matters

The slow parts protect your property. Soaking plants keeps them from absorbing the cleaning mix. Covering outlets keeps water out of wiring. Blocking drains protects creeks and the St. Johns River. The City of Jacksonville stormwater page says never to dump anything into a ditch or storm drain.

What You Can Do Before Cleaning Day

  • Move cars off the driveway.
  • Close windows and doors, and unlock gates.
  • Bring in pet bowls, doormats, cushions and toys.
  • Make sure your outdoor spigot works.
  • Tell your pro about anything delicate, like a koi pond, a vegetable garden or a loose shutter.
